以郡上市高鹫地区的大日岳山为起点注入伊势湾的长良川全长166公里，紧沿着金华山缓缓而流，和金华山一样也是岐阜的象征。岐阜市民热爱长良川。自美浓市流经关市到岐阜市的长良川的中游地区入选了“名水百选”。香鱼、河鳟鱼、鱲等多种河鱼生活在清流长良川中。

Nature is stored for a long time and it is a treasure house of Nature. So while you are climbing a mountain, you can enjoy scenery of the Nature. You can　also look around ontakesan, Hakusan, Ibukiyama, Nagoya in the daytime.
There is Gifu castle on the Kinkazan mountaintop, and there are squirrel village and the Gifu castle museum, too. You can watch some weapons and the protective gear of the age of civil strife at the museum. You can look at Gifu Park and a famous tourist attraction on the mountaintop. The Gifu castle was located in the summit of Kinkazan and became famous as a castle of Dousan Saitou and Nobunaga Oda.
Sometimes can look at the night view in the Gifu castle and can enjoy a romantic atmosphere to the full. You can choose 2 routes when you go to the Gifu castle. Ropeway or climbing. When the Kinkazan ropeway links the mountaintop to Gifu Park, you can enjoy nature overflowing in the four seasons, and the splendid scenery of the Nagara River can enter the field of vision.
